Not all lasers are made for dark skin types. Laser can cause pigmentation of the skin, if incorrect laser is used.

Our laser is suitable for dark skin types.

How many treatments do i need?

On average you will need 6 to 10 treatments laser treatments. Results can be seen from the very first session.

80 % of hair should be gone by the 6th session.

Sessions are Spaced 4 to 6 weeks apart.

More sessions may be needed for some individuals with persistent hair or for clients with PCOS.

What can i expect after a treatment?

For the first 2 weeks after every treatment you will not see much of a difference and you can keep on shaving as normal. Two Weeks after your treatment the hair will fall out patchy. You will then experience a no-growth period in the treated area and will hardly have to shave. 2 Weeks after that, the next growth stage will start growing out and you can start shaving again. At that stage it is time for your next appointment. After every treatment you will notice that the hair growth will be less than before and it will get finer with every subsequent treatment.

What to do after my first treatment?

You can return to work or normal activities immediately following your laser hair removal procedure Post treatment reactions vary. Most people experience no side effects at all, though few exhibit superficial scabs, itching or some short-term local reddening. This may last from a few minutes to one to 2 days depending on the area treated and your skin’s sensitivity. It is advisable to keep the skin protected from exposure to direct sunlight for about 3 days.

What hair colours can be treated?

The laser emits a beam which targets the melanin (colour pigment located in the hair). The beam of light is absorbed by the pigment in the hair follicle. Grey, red of blonde hair can therefore not be treated because of the lack of colour pigment.

*Please discuss blonde hair with your professional laser technician.

What can I do if I feel like my treatment is not working?

It is very important to complete a full growth cycle when you are doing laser hair removal. You need 6 session to complete this cycle. This means that you have treated the hair follicle in every cycle of growth. After 6 sessions, most people are satisfied. You might still have a little bit of growth, and can complete another cycle.
